On July 10, 2015, the International High Efficiency Motor Symposium was successfully held in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu. This is a global industry conference in the field of motors, renowned for its authority, practical expertise, and innovation. This conference is jointly organized by the Swiss Energy Efficiency Agency, the People's Government of Zhenjiang City, and the National Energy Efficiency Improvement Office. Swiss Ambassador to China Dai Shangxian, Director of the Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Gao Yunhu, and Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology Li Qiang were invited to attend the meeting. More than 200 energy conservation and motor experts from both international and domestic sources gathered together and actively spoke.
At present, the market share of high-efficiency motors in China is still very low. One major reason is that equipment suppliers are unwilling to choose higher priced high-efficiency products due to cost considerations, and end users lack a full life cycle concept and insufficient understanding of high-efficiency motors. At the seminar, Mr. Zhou Sheng, President of the International Copper Association China, as a co organizer, called for the key to promoting the development of the high-efficiency motor market to provide users with a cost-effective solution, and cast copper rotor motors are products that meet this characteristic. Cast copper rotor motors have excellent performance such as small size, low temperature rise, light weight, low cost, and high efficiency. Using cast copper rotor motors can increase power density, reduce size and weight without increasing or reducing costs. Meanwhile, by replacing the aluminum rotor originally used in the motor with a redesigned copper rotor, efficient remanufacturing of the motor can be achieved.
At the meeting, the International Copper Association signed a strategic cooperation agreement on motor system energy conservation with Huarui Energy saving Technology and Impact Energy, and will cooperate in the promotion of high-efficiency motors and high-efficiency remanufacturing of motors.
